Suitable for graduates wishing to develop the expertise needed to solve environmental water management problems through integrated understanding of the major issues, and factors affecting these at different scales. The part-time option will allow practitioners to extend their professional development within their current employment.
Takes you on to a wide range of roles including management of water quality, water resources, aquatic habitat and wildlife, flood defence, and policy within organisations. The course also provides an ideal grounding for research positions and PhD studentships with an applied focus.
You will be taught by our internationally renowned research and academic staff with skills in hydrology, ecology, engineering and policy who have extensive international experience of solving real-life water management problems. They successfully combine professional experience with high-quality teaching skills, and most are members of the Higher Education Academy.
