课程特征 Course Features:
An MA in the area of Medieval Studies offers you the opportunity of interdisciplinary study or concentration on a single subject. Pathways draw on the University's unrivalled range of academic staff specialising in the Middle Ages across an exceptionally wide range of disciplines in every School within the Faculty. You are able to be part of this community of medievalists. Bristol itself was a great medieval maritime port and European cultural melting pot, and it offers you opportunities to observe its great medieval heritage. You also have privileged access to work with primary sources in the adjacent great cathedral libraries at Wells and Hereford and the opportunity to work on manuscripts held in our own teaching collection
课程内容 Course Content :
The MA programme is organised around specialised 'pathways', allowing you to focus on texts and sources using exemplars available in local medieval collections, or on a comparative cultural study, or on historical topics. Each pathway is divided in to three elements.
