入学要求 Requirement:
学术要求: BSc Honours Degree in Computing or IT, with at least grade 2:2 (or equivalent). Relevant professional experience will be taken into account.
英语要求:A TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet-based with a minimum score of 23 in speaking and 20 in all other bands)
An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band.

This programme aims to:
·advance knowledge, understanding and skills in professional practice in IT and management of software systems
·prepare for an effective career with the potential to reach a leadership role
·provide practical experience of IT projects from the initial analysis of a problem, through design and planning, implementation and documentation in order to prepare for effective participation in the IT industry.
The programme runs for 12 months from October to September with examinations / assessments held in December and March/April. The programme requires the student to undertake seven taught modules, which run between October and March, followed by the completion of a major six-month project of approximately 15,000 words, to be submitted by the end of September. The oral examination of the project is expected to take place within one month of submission.

Taught modules are complemented with a substantial 80 credit individual project. Students are allowed to decide on the particular topic for their project. All projects are supervised by an academic member of staff, providing the students the opportunity for extended application of the knowledge and skills acquired in the taught part of the programme.
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment:
Taught modules may involve lectures, tutorials, case studies, laboratories and seminars. Assessment methods are chosen in relation to the particular requirements of a module. These modules vary from 100% examination to 100% continuous assessment. The major project accounts for 80 of the 180 credits required for successful completion of the degree. Students who do not wish to continue to the full MSc qualification may decide to undertake a smaller 20 credit diploma project, leading to a Postgraduate Diploma.
