学术要求: A first- or second-class undergraduate honours degree in engineering, mathematics or an applied science. The undergraduate honours degree should normally be in the fields of electronics, communications or computing.
英语要求:IELTS 6.0, with not less than 6.0 in each section. Internet TOEFL with 80 overall including 22 in Speaking and 24 in Writing.

Digital communication systems are ubiquitous in the modern world and comprise some of the most important technologies 21st-century society depends on, for example the internet and mobile communications. This MSc covers the central technologies required for the understanding, analysis and implementation of communication systems and provides both the requisite theory and practical experience to permit you to contribute professionally in the subject area.
The aim of this programme is to develop academic and professional excellence both for newly qualified and practising engineers who wish to extend their knowledge and skills in the field of modern digital communications.

Autumn term: Advanced Network Technologies ▪ Mobile and Satellite Communication Technologies. You also choose two options from Digital Signal Processing (Advanced) ▪ Real-Time Embedded Systems ▪ RF Electronic Design.
Spring term: Advanced Digital Communications ▪ Fibre Optic Communications. You also choose two options from Advanced Microprocessor Systems ▪ Advanced Space Systems ▪ High-Level IC Design ▪ Robotic Sensory Systems ▪ Strategic Management.
Summer term and vacation: the MSc project runs through the spring and summer terms and is concluded at the end of August.
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment:
MSc programmes are made up of a total of 180 credits from a combination of taught courses and a dissertation. The taught courses are assessed by a range of methods, including laboratory reports, essays and unseen examinations. The project dissertation comprises approximately one-third of the programme and is assessed on the final report of about 12,000 words.
