•MA awarded upon successful completion of 180 credits, including a dissertation
•Postgraduate Diploma awarded upon successful completion of 120 credits
•Postgraduate Certificate awarded after a minimum of one 12 week period of study and the successful completion of 60 credits, including a core module of either 'Understanding War and Strategy', or 'Understanding Foreign Policy Making and Conflict Resolution'.

The programme utilises the expertise available at BRNC, Dartmouth, to give students an insight into the study of strategy, contemporary security problems, regional issues, and the process of policy-making. The programme provides the knowledge and intellectual skills for employment in any profession, but especially in such fields as diplomacy, journalism, public relations, risk analysis, security, and lobbying for either the commercial or NGO sector.
The Masters programme may also serve as a foundation for further postgraduate study at PhD level.
