This MSc will suit engineering, mathematics and physical sciences graduates who wish to specialise in the maritime engineering science sector. No prior knowledge of the discipline is required. The programme offers a sound understanding of the relevant fundamental principles, methods, analysis, synthesis and engineering applications.

There are six themes, each with compulsory lecture modules for in-depth specialisation, plus three to five options to broaden your portfolio of expertise. You will complete a research project during semester two, to be submitted by September. The eight themes are:
