学术要求：at least a second class honours degree or equivalent from a non-UK university (GPA 3.0 or above) plus evidence of commitment to teaching a second or foreign language
英语要求：IELTS 6.5. A minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent in each of the four skills is required.

The MA TESOL is designed to provide a thorough grounding in both theory and practice of language teaching to those students with little previous experience of teaching English.

• The Structure of English: Grammar Awareness, Phonology and Pronunciation Teaching
• Language, Discourse and Society
• Two out of a range of options (options offered will change from year to year)
• Professional Enquiry in TESOL or a dissertation
教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment：
On campus teaching is seminar-based, with tutorial support. Assessment is through essays and some tests and project work. Students are encouraged to develop their transferable skills, including IT and oral presentation.
