This intensive MSc is designed to provide individuals without a specialist accounting degree with a sound and thorough knowledge of accounting practice and research.
The programme has particular focus on international aspects and governance, providing you with knowledge of fundamental areas of accounting and finance within their management and socio-political context.

Autumn term: you take Corporate Finance ▪ Essentials of Global Management ▪ Institutions in the Global Financial Market ▪ Management Accounting and Control. You also take Introduction to Accounting for Managers (for students without passes in prior equivalent accounting courses), or Financial Markets and Financial Instruments (for students with passes equivalent prior accounting courses).
Spring term: you take Accounting, Organisations and Society ▪ Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility ▪ International Accounting and Financial Reporting ▪ Research Methods. You also take one option from Banking and Financial Institutions ▪ Entrepreneurial Finance ▪ Globalisation and Integration ▪ Multinational Financial Management ▪ The Business Context in Asia ▪ The Business Context in Europe
Summer term: you undertake an independent business analysis report.

You will be assessment by a combination of unseen and open-book examinations, individual essays, group coursework, and presentations, as well as the research proposal and project report.
