课程内容 Course Content ：
The main areas of compulsory subjects examined include: microprocessor hardware and software technology, signal processing, cellular radio communications systems and related topics.
Optional subjects allow consideration of specialist interests; the range of subjects available includes: optical fibre systems, radio propagation, communication signal processing, neural networks, integrated circuit design etc.
The programme starts in late September each year and is divided into three approximately equal periods. The first and second periods consist of lectures, laboratory classes, seminars and similar material. In the third period students undertake an individually supervised project on a topic relevant to their specialist interests.
