This programme is for students from all over the world who are interested in the problems, challenges and opportunities presented by globalisation, and for students wanting to gain an advanced knowledge of the theories and practice of international political economy from a range of different disciplinary and empirical perspectives.
It addresses:
•The parameters of the politically possible in an era of heightened capital mobility
• The future of the welfare state and social democracy in the advanced capitalist economies
• The emergence and development of regional trading blocs
• The future of the nation state

The core module is Globalisation and Governance and you can choose from a range of additional options, including:
• Advanced Political Analysis
• International Political Economy
MA students will also write a (maximum) 13,500-word dissertation on a relevant topic of their choosing.
