This programme will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in research, development and design for future generations of communication networks. You will study modules that reinforce the fundamentals of communications engineering and an advanced module in communications networks. You also have an opportunity to broaden your knowledge by taking modules from across the range of MSc programmes offered by the School. All the modules are at the forefront of academic knowledge and demand the highest levels of intellectual understanding. You will learn how to select and design algorithms for networking and how to simulate the operation of networks. The programme provides a theoretical basis for the design, construction and operation of innovative computer communication networks.
