This programme is designed to equip students with an advanced, interdisciplinary-disciplinary knowledge of the legal issues and techniques related to environmental protection and the management of natural resources, with special emphasis on climate change.
The programme enables students to analyze and evaluate the historic and ongoing development of international, European and national law for environmental protection, the inter-relations between these different levels of law-making, as well as the interactions between environmental law and other areas of law.
It will also allow students to choose optional courses complementing their legal studies with an analysis of the scientific and socio-economic aspects of environmental protection.

评估 Assessment:
Candidates are also required to design and write an approved 10,000-word dissertation in an area covered by the courses in the dedicated programme. For the dissertation you will have a supervisor from whom you can expect guidance and support, but the purpose of the dissertation is to allow you independently to design and conduct a piece of research and analysis.
