Normally a 2.1 Honours degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or other relevant quantitative subject, or equivalent recognised qualification.
We welcome applications from a diverse range of applicants so will also consider previous work experience alongside academic qualifications. We encourage applicants to submit a detailed CV.
Applicants who lack the prerequisite academic qualification or equivalent may be required to attend an interview.

The MSc Finance is designed to provide students with the necessary skills to understand financial markets and institutions, as well as to prepare students for a PhD in Finance or Economics.
Students have direct access to up-to-date international financial data sets, such as DATASTREAM, Thomson ONE Banker Analytics and Osiris.
Using such resources, each student is consistently encouraged to prepare assignments, which are required to be at a professional level.
Similarly each student, using the above financial data resources, is also required to complete an MSc dissertation under personal supervision.
The dissertation typically will address an interesting financial market issue, requiring a statistical analysis approach. Such assignments are designed to prepare our graduates for a career in the financial sector.

教学与评估 Teaching and Assessment:
Two thirds of the programme is assessed by written examination and continuous assessment. The other third is a dissertation (14,000-17,000 words or equivalent).
