学术要求：You should have a minimum of an upper-second (2.1) class Honours degree from a UK university or its equivalent from an accredited institution elsewhere. We normally only accept applicants who have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, such as Information Systems or Engineering.

课程内容 Course Content ：
In semester 1 you will do the Advanced Software Engineering module and choose two from Advanced Networks and Distributed Systems, Advanced Artificial Intelligence, and Database Management Systems.
Semester 2 has much more choice. Our software engineers typically choose to do Software Architecture and Critical Systems Engineering, leaving one more choice. This will depend on what you have chosen to do in semester 1, but might be another module from the networks stream (e.g. Mobile & Multimedia Systems) or another from the AI stream (e.g. Knowledge and Reasoning).
In the summer you will do your dissertation project on a topic in Software Engineering. You will choose this topic around Christmas and do some preparatory work in semester two as part of the small (5-credit) module IS5101: Academic Project Planning.
