International Political Economy is one of the most important and fastest expanding sub-disciplines in the fields of Political Science and International Relations, due to the increasing recognition amongst students and researchers across the social sciences that political and economic issues are analytically inseparable. This programme analyses international relations in combination with political economy, from a range of global and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Compulsory modules: Global political economy; Philosophy, methodology and research design
Four optional modules: You can choose modules from a wide range of options in politics and international relations, or other relevant social science modules (including economics) where you hold the relevant pre-requisites.
Plus: Dissertation of 12,500–15,000 words (MSc only).
