The programme will allow you to gain an in-depth understanding of this rapidly changing and dynamic international environment. You will also develop the skills to identify the strategies available to firms operating at an international level. We encourage an understanding of the economics of the international environment as well as the ethical issues of operating across countries.
This course attracts students from around the world and the teaching environment is very international in its nature.

The Research Methods and Techniques module provides you with comprehensive training in research skills. You will then have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of field research through the Dissertation module, an extended piece of research which allows you to consolidate your studies by pursuing an area of interest in depth.

The teaching on this programme not only encourages you to develop knowledge of the area, but it also allows you to learn skills in critical thinking and analysis. We use a wide range of teaching styles, from formal lectures to practical experience. Extensive use is made of case studies and current affairs. Modules have different teaching and assessment strategies: in some you will undertake individual work, in others you will work in groups.
