Subjects and areas of study on this MA are varied and diverse, including for instance 14-19 provision, higher education, assessment for learning, person-centred education, subject-specific study (especially English, Mathematics, or Science) and special education/disability.

Assessment is through coursework assignments. The result is that you acquire greater confidence, enhanced capabilities and different ways of thinking.
We award an MA in Education Studies for the accumulation of 180 credits. This is through successful completion of 90 credits by an appropriate combination of 5,000-word (22.5 credits), 6,000-word (30 credits) and 10,000-word (45 credits) assignments, plus a 20,000-word dissertation for a further 90 credits.

Our Education Studies graduates have gone on to careers in education in roles such as assistant head teacher, deputy head teacher, head of economics, and training officer in the police force.
