The School Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering already teaches a broad range of modules at Masters level through its MEng degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The aim of this MSc programme is therefore to provide a broad technical education to:
•Provide postgraduate training for Bachelor's degree and PhD students
•Provide a pool of highly-qualified MSc graduates for recruitment into industry and to PhD study in the Aerospace and Internal Combustion Engines clusters of the School

This MSc programme offers a broad range of advanced subjects in mechanical engineering, including modules in management. It is designed to be individually tailored by the student to suit their particular needs and interests, by selecting modules from a wide range of options.
The programme is aimed at graduate engineers who wish to pursue a high-level career in industry exploiting advanced engineering techniques. It can also provide in-depth knowledge in specific subject areas to those graduates who are considering a career in research, either in industry or academia.
