学术要求：You should have a minimum of an upper-second (2.1) class Honours degree from a UK university or its equivalent from an accredited institution elsewhere. We normally only accept applicants who have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, such as Information Systems or Engineering.

课程内容 Course Content ：
In semester 1 you will do the Advanced Networks and Distributed Systems module and choose two from Advanced Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Software Engineering, and Database Management Systems.
Semester 2 has much more choice. As a Networks student, you will do the Mobile & Multimedia Systems module, leaving two more choices. This will depend on what you have chosen to do in semester 1, but might include another module from the software engineering stream (e.g. Software Architecture) and/or another from the AI stream (e.g. Knowledge and Reasoning). It might also include a module via a dip-down to our senior honours undergraduate programme. The precise rules are in the catalogue.
In the summer you will do your dissertation project on a topic in Networks. You will choose this topic around Christmas and do some preparatory work in semester two as part of the small (5-credit) module IS5101: Academic Project Planning.
