学术要求: An applicant will be considered for admission that has already achieved an educational level equivalent to an Honours Degree in a field, which uses or is used in Digital Media Futures such as film and video, journalism and media studies.
This educational level may be demonstrated by:
•Possession of the qualifications named above;
•Possession of equivalent qualifications;
•Prior experiential learning (substantial experience of and commitment to the practice of Digital Media Futures), the outcome of which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to formal qualifications otherwise required, or;
•A combination of formal qualifications and experiential learning which, taken together, can be demonstrated to be equivalent to formal qualifications otherwise required

Unit 1.1 - Future Media: Research Methods and Context
This unit focuses on the application of detailed research methodologies. It involves rigorous research into current digital media development and production parameters and the industry trends in audience perceptions and demands.
Unit 1.2 - Media Development
This unit contextualises the process of developing digital media services by examining the history and background of these technologies, their development in the context of market and audience-driven demand and the influences and changes that have come about as a result of the adoption of new platforms, publication formats and production processes.
Unit 1.3 - Major Project: Proposal
In this unit the key concepts of digital media production and innovation are investigated, examined and dissected using research, tutorial and peer-review feedback processes
Unit 2.1 - Futurology: Methods and Application
This unit examines the development of the science of trend analysis and project innovation to develop the professional practices of innovation and digital service development that is at the heart of contemporary media practices
Unit 2.2 - Specialisation Units
This unit allows you to focus on a specific digital media production topic or an area of professional practice.

Unit 2.3 - Major Project: Outline
This unit is designed to enable you to question the originality and suitability of your original project. It involves the critical review of your own project whilst learning the skills of presentation.
Unit 3.0: Major Project: Resolution
Within this unit you will further develop your specialist interest identified earlier in the course. In particular you will engage in the creation of a Major Project, which will involve writing several drafts of an original digital media service proposal together with format, marketing and pitching documents, or write a dissertation examining in detail an issue facing the digital media production sector.
