The programme is for those who have not studied to any great depth in this subject area, who seek to develop the required knowledge and skills in order to pursue a career in human resource management.
Skills development will be facilitated specifically by:
•Providing students with knowledge of the principles and current issues relevant to Human Resource management roles in business organisations
•Supporting the development of subject specific and key transferable skills necessary for employment in positions related to the management of human resources
•Supporting students to adopt a critically reflective approach to HRM issues both locally and globally
•Providing opportunities for students to acquire a range of analytical techniques required for the effective tactical and strategic management of business organisations
•Enabling students to develop their IT skills and familiarity with a range of financial and statistical software
•Providing the students with a blended learning environment
•Supporting the enhancement of skills of written and spoken communication
